Howto revive a bricked Linksys WAP54G v2
These are the steps that I followed to revive my Linksys WAP54G v2 from the death.
It may happen when you try to upgrade or change its firmware and something goes wrong. Electric power going on and off several times in a short period may also lead to this situation.
Then your access point (AP) is dead. It's useful only like a brick.
What can we do?

Hi, i am just confused about pin numbers..
as i know the point on the right upside of the picture should be pointing pin-1 so you should be shortcircuiting 9 and 10 pins.
is it true?
because..i have a brick v2 too.only lights i can see on them ethernet and power.i tried shorting 15 and 16 and 9 and 10 as you did..but no ping or no tftp response.. is it the default ip add. of router 1.254 or is is the last config we did. because i was using 1.1 as ip add of this brick..any ideas are welcome

hello reset pin 15-16 or 16-17 doesnt give me 192.168.1.245 back it only give me 192.168.1.1.
and after i put linksys firmware wap54g ver.2, my linksys becomes reboot always.
how to overcome this, thank you
